I'm not sure Nick knows we've been subscribing to his newsletters for awhile now. If you're responsible for writing or editing your show's collateral, direct mail or website, you'll want to subscribe yourself.
Thanks Nick for the kind words.
This was why I was dubious about blogs written by hired guns.
This was yesterday in the Pittsburgh Tribune. Thankfully the Trib's website left out the photo.
Meantime, "corporate" marketers just don't get what we and others are doing.
Heady times. And weird times. There are moments when I'm not sure I was born too early (what's happening in marketing is exciting) or too late (what's happening in marketing is confusing as all getout).
All one can do is try to be honest.
Corporate marketers really don't understand. Most of them, along with media writers,(non-blog) only talk about negative aspects to evidently justify their desire to stay totally with what they know.
While there are always fads that come and go, they need to learn quickly that this isn't one of them.
