I used to be a pretty good trade show marketer. It took 20 years before realizing that career wasn't going to take. So I became vp marketing at a tech startup focused on travel in Boston.
After 9/11 that job ceased to exist. And Boston wasn't cheap. So I moved to Pittsburgh figuring, hey, I could always go back to trade shows.
Wrong.
So here I am, making panini and pursuing an ethereal perfection in a demitasse for my wife's coffeehouse. I started as an above average cook, but the coffee connection got me thinking. How do you make a coffee/panini pairing more exciting?
And who else cares about such stuff?
